He is risen! – McAllisters in Japan
https://twomacs.wordpress.com/2015/04/05/he-is-risen
A family blog by seth and hannah. Today we got to celebrate Easter with the believers at Matsumoto Abundant Life Church. We also got to watch our friend Yumi get baptised this morning. It has been super encouraging to see how God has transformed her life and given her so much hope over the last year. I was reminded today of the great hope that we have in Jesus. He has conquered death. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? This is most of the members of ALC (Abundant Life Church).

A Mind Unafraid to Travel: April 2011
http://amindunafraidtotravel.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Sincerely, I prefer wine over lemonade. I seem to apologize every other post for not getting around to blogging often enough. I know many of you would like updates on my daily life, but I've been hit pretty hard lately and if I take to writing it out here, I think I may be a bit too specific. I am trying to have this blog be a place that is safe from my struggles, although maybe it shouldn't be? Not me, but it could be. It seemed so 1950's, so retro. So of course I loved it...

A Mind Unafraid to Travel: July 2011
http://amindunafraidtotravel.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 25, 2011. Or a massive wedding with so many funny stories and great memories? Glorious. And I wish I took more photographs. I'm obsessed with great photographers who capture real life images but I never really do so myself because I'm even more obsessed with living in the moment. After the moment is over, however, I'm slightly bummed at myself for not taking that split moment out and capturing it on film. Or, not "film" anymore, but digital. space. 6/12 cousins - 3 pairs of siblings. In a cu...

Tuesday, December 20, 2011. No, not me. My Boston best friend! Her now fiance reached out to me about 6 weeks ago to start planning this past Saturday. I went ring shopping with him to make sure he was picking everything she requested in the ring. We worked out the details for Saturday and I threw together their first engagement party that happened about an hour after they got engaged. Everything about the evening was a surprise and it was a complete success! You're the best, D! Ollie didn't know where t...

A Mind Unafraid to Travel: June 2011
http://amindunafraidtotravel.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Why does everything depend on its profitability? Why can't it just depend on if the individual is happy or challenged? Why do we need to put such pressures on ourselves? I don't have answers. But I do have little things that make me happy. Things that take me to another place and tell me it's alright to be calm; to enjoy the company of others and be at peace. These are my 13 happy things:. 1 Small propeller airplanes. They remind me of Saturday afternoons growing up. One of my r...

http://amindunafraidtotravel.blogspot.com/2011/10/autumn-is-my-favorite.html
Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Autumn is my Favorite. I love images. I love moving images. Words are beautiful and I enjoy being able to put feelings and sites into words. But there's nothing like the real thing; a thousand words to one picture. You know what is better than images, though? Jess, me and Charlie the toy poodle - ready to go! Yes, he made it all the way up the mountain. with a little help. On our way up. Not even halfway yet. Charlie saying, "Hey! The view gets better and better. So refreshing ...

Monday, October 24, 2011. Perks of Living in a City. Wine tasting is SO last year. What's new: olive oil and vinegar tasting! There's this great specialty store on Newbury St. in Boston that only sells the finest olive oil and vinegar called Boston Olive Oil Company. Debbie and I went on a sister date one afternoon recently and had fun tasting flavors like "pomegranate fig vinegar" or "Tuscan herb olive oil". The employees told us certain vinegars are excellent on vanilla ice cream. go figure! For the Co...

Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Cannot take credit for this lovely pic.found on Flickr taken in Scotland). 65279; . We felt the winds of change before we left Osaka. You know that feeling? The tingling anticipation that things will be different? When we consider the promises of Christ, risking everything we are and everything we have for his sake is no longer a matter of sacrifice. From Japan with Love
From Japan with Love. Thursday, March 1, 2012. Thankfully everything went very well with the bindery equipment over the last two weeks, many problems were fixed, the business end is finished, many books were made, and the line is ready to make many more. The books are strong, the machines are running smoothly, and the brothers here are doing very well. All this, of course, means that it is time for us to go home. After a brief decompression in Seattle, we will return to Wallkill March 12. With love, c&a.

Two Mad Dahlias
Sunday, August 9, 2015. I was at Michael's the other day just poking around and came across some plastic keychains in the kids section. They were on sale and I knew I could make something out of them. I made a bunch with scraps of paper, bits of ribbon, and Lisa's Altered Art images. Some girls got glittery wings. Some got tiny bling on their crowns. This girl got a blingy button. She has glittery wings and a jeweled crown. I'd love to see them if you make some. Simon Says Stamp Tie It Up CHallenge.
