Who says you have to be traveling or pregnant in order to blog? At school, I'm being put through the first-year wringer. I'm teaching 4 subjects: choir, general music, drama, and reading. It has involved a huge learning curve, particularly with the drama and reading, but the kids are learning and things are moving! Long time, no see.

I went up to Portland this morning with my dad to meet up with my mom and aunt for Leah's last state championship basketball game. They'd lost their first game on Thursday, but won on Friday which meant they were playing for 4th place today. They won! Brandon (CU Boulder), Nichelle, Natasha, Christie, Mindy, Sara. The sea of German flags. It was great, and part way through the evening a thunderstorm broke out of nowhere.
