I decided to look out some figures . As I couldn't work out how to post the relutant graphs I've put them here. I managed to find this graph of wheat consumption in a set of countries. As the print doesn't show up clearly, they are in order:. I used data from the WHO to show the obesity levels in those countries.

Apparently a 'nutritionist' at Montpelier hospital says that to strengthen the immune system we need a lot of zinc. Oysters are one of the best sources. The good doctor also suggests eating cheese like Roquefort and the crust on Camembert for their useful bacteria plus fruit and veg for vitamin C, red fruits for beta carotene and kiwis for vitamin E.
