Monday, July 16, 2012. I was contacted by a friend looking for help rescuing a 6 year old Jack Russell who was suffering terribly from allergies. His family was going to put him to sleep rather than seek Veterinary care for their dog. I was sent this picture of this dog. I knew immediately that we HAD to help this dog! Here are some pictures from his first day with us. As you can see Hudson was bright red. Think how that must feel! My dog, Riley, knows Hudson is suffering and has been looking after him.

Saturday, January 21, 2012. She found herself in a pickle when her owner passed away suddenly. Glen and I met Emma today and just fell head over heels in love with her. The plan was to help find her a home, but the more I look at that sweet face, the more I am seriously considering that she is where she needs to be. Only time will tell. Hudson never once hesitated to love us or trust us, despite how his people forced him to live before we met him.
