Saturday, April 14, 2012. Glacier Ridge 50k race report. Here is a brief summary of my race at the Glacier Ridge 50k this morning. I put together a list of objectives prior to the race, so here is how I think I fared. This list was assembled in order of descending priority. Have fun - again, yup. Don't bonk - didn't. Eat frequently - I usually eat every 30 minutes but found this was making me a bit queasy, so I eased it back to every 45 - 60 and found that worked well. Great day in the woods overall.

Sunday, February 5, 2012. Well, it looks like I'm going back. To settle some unfinished business this year! Can't wait. Racing season now set in stone: this. And finally, THIS. Friday, December 30, 2011. Never underestimate the power of sleep. The cumulative fatigue associated with running hard up steep hills and strength training left me drained the last few days. Last night I fell asleep on the couch during "Whitney" at about 9:35 pm and did not wake up until 5:30 am Unfortunately, the first thing I saw was this guy's mug. On the tv (he's a tool as far as I'm concerned). Then, I went upstairs and got into bed and didn't move again until almost 8 am. Sunday, December 25, 2011.
