What’s Inspiring Me? | Veggietude
https://veggietude.wordpress.com/quotes-2
What’s Inspiring Me? What’s Inspiring Me? To live content with small means,. To seek elegance rather than luxury,. And refinement rather than fashion,. To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich,. To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly,. To listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart,. To bear all cheerfully,. Do all bravely,. In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and conscious,. Grow up through the common. This is to be my symphony. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

What’s Inspiring Me? By veggietude on June 22, 2015. Some new stuff going on! Friday I am going to The Cleveland Clinic to participate in Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn Jr.’s 5 hour Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease Program. So looking forward to it. I don’t eat meat, fish etc. but have been eating occasional eggs and I have cheese a couple of times a week maybe…mostly when eating out. However, if I wish to live a long healthy life, these things are out. I also have a brother Will, who has a blog/fb page etc....

What’s Inspiring Me? Hi I’m Christine (or as one friend calls me…Sweet Pea). Thanks for checking out my blog! Well let’s start with recently. I was in New York City for a ‘vegan-inspired’ trip with my sister and cousin. We traipsed around the city for four days eating at vegan restaurants, visiting ‘vegan’ stores and eco-stores and had a ball. The trip was my idea and part of this adventure I want to live! Back the boots went. And I feel great about that decision. So basically, this blog is part of my ef...

What’s Inspiring Me? I’ve been busy cooking to have some food to take on the road. Homemade lemon muffins (I even ground the oat bran into flour, myself! A goulash dish that used to have meat and oil in it (doesn’t now of course), some dark rye, roasted roma tomatoes and roasted peppers, the white stuff on top is a non-dairy caesar salad dressing and in the back right are the infamous Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. Made these tonight for my road trip on Thursday to The Cleveland Clinic. It is clear that I mu...

Veggie Turkeys - turning favorite international recipes vegetarian, one dish at a time
Turning favorite international recipes vegetarian, one dish at a time. July 12, 2015. During our Australia trip we had a chance to taste few unique vegetarian dishes and snacks. One memorable item was a big, red, deep-fried blob. When we ate it for the first time, we inquired more about it, and took note – because it was delicious! After fate took us to this unusual combination of deep-fried risotto and beets, we finally got to do it our version at […]. June 25, 2015. May 31, 2015. May 31, 2015. Gülevren...

veggie turned vegan | A long time vegetarian embarking on the vegan journey
A long time vegetarian embarking on the vegan journey. Asymp; Leave a comment. So, it’s been just over 6 weeks since my vegan journey began (it feels so much longer than that! I have a confession. I didn’t do too well. For 5 weeks, I stuck at it. I really was making an effort, I believe I lost weight (but didn’t weigh myself) and I felt so much better in myself. I am really struggling financially at the moment (come on payday! I don’t know why, but I can’t get back in to it. So, here we go again. I’...
