Monday, 21 January 2013. Ground works are well underway now, with a slight delay caused by the low temperatures this week. The foundations to the biggest block are 50% complete and would be 100% had the frost and snow not prevented concreting. The 2 smaller blocks are fully piled, with the beams that support the masonry due in the next couple of weeks. Once the foundations are laid, the next trade that will be on site will be the brick layers to build the walls up to the bottom of the timber frame.

Friday, 22 March 2013. This week we made good progress installing the plot drainage, stoning up the road and pinning out for the kerb race. Then we ground to a halt on Friday when the snow arrived.
