Hope Tess is ok! Thank you both. She was very weepy when we picked her up which was heart breaking as she was obviously in pain - the incision is about twice the length I was expecting - but she's a bit more like her old self tonight. She needs constant reassurance and watching at the moment so I've been setting up a puppy sitting rota. Strict rest for 10 days could become a challenge very quickly!

Just as well, I had to drive into Manhattan today as daughter had forgotten everything she needed at work. (Money, tampax, and her pills.) I have an aunt of the WWii era who was married at 17. Jul 20th, 2015. Actual temperature in Brooklyn today was 90 and I have bronchitis. I have been sitting with it for the last week, hoping it was a cold. I mean if it is a cold it is a virus, and all you can then do is wait. But today Mike said he really thought I ought to get checked. Weird to be all coughing in such flattening heat. We had a lot of small people around with their lanterns, singing the traditional songs and being rewarded with sweets. I am not good - I no longer make a lantern from a turnip (like the one in my icon) but use a pumpkin instead as it is easier to hollow out!
