I'm rereading various of my own (and cowritten) old fics, more or less at random. It's rather weird. I don't remember what happens in many of them, so it's almost like reading someone else's stuff, except that the style does still feel familiar. I got back from vacation on Sunday, actually, but as tends to happen, the pile-up of work during an extended absence has kept me very very busy all week, exacerbated by the fact that our new students arrive shortly and next week will be full of orientation events, then on to the semester.
