I’ve (almost) never met a book I didn’t like. Meh worth finishing, won’t re-read. Good, won’t read it again. Great, would check it out again, but probably not buy it. Crafty Cocktail: Spun loveliness blocking
http://craftycocktail.blogspot.com/2011/06/spun-loveliness-blocking.html
Emily's the knitter, Clare's the spinner, and we both like cocktails! Wednesday, 15 June 2011. So pleased with this! I've weighed what's left - have 35, so presumably I used 65g in the shawl (but it's wet and blocking, so can't weigh it now). See the lovely texture! I'm really pleased with it, and think that GT will love it. Enough left for me to make a little cowl for me. Its absolutely gorgeous Emily. and how lucky you are to have someone who spins so well! That is looking gorgeous. Go Knit in your Hat.

I hope you’re all well and life is mostly sweet… A little heads-up that I’ve just added 20 pouches to the shop. Most of which are Harris tweed from a series of jackets I collected in Melbourne. The incredible textures and colours found in HT never cease to take my breath away, especially when I get in close- and, in this case, I had no choice as my main lens is broken so I had to use my macro lens- apologies for the even shallower depth of field than normal ; ).
