I’m not sure why I do this, but it’s fun so I keep going. Run and swim →. April 12, 2009. I went out for a ride today and I finally got a true test of how much faster I am on my new bike. Check this post. As soon as I got to his house, I jumped in the shower and had about 10 minutes to get ready for an Easter dinner over at another house. My day was kind of hectic, but overall it was worth it. On my ride, I remembered a quote that I once read. It goes as follows:. This entry was posted in training.

Flying Pig Marathon – race report | ZJ’s Ironblog

I’m not sure why I do this, but it’s fun so I keep going. Ironman – You will do this →. Flying Pig Marathon – race report. May 5, 2009. The training plan that I followed allowed me to adequately recover before Sunday. A finish like this was over a year in the making. I expected the Derby marathon to go as well as the Pig did, but I had a lot more to deal with on that day. I wasn’t able to finish up to my expectations. I knew that I would have another chance. I owed it to myself. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

I’m not sure why I do this, but it’s fun so I keep going. Flying Pig Marathon – race report →. May 1, 2009. I’ve been reflecting on my training for the Pig and I am confident with what I have accomplished. I’ve had a few issues that kept me from running a few of the longer training runs but I think the HIM training that I have been doing has filled in those gaps nicely. I think the biggest issue I will have to deal with on race day is the impact. This entry was posted in training. Enter your comment here.

Bobby’s Running Blog. St Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Papa John’s 10 Miler. Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon 2008. April 8, 2008. We went 21 miles this past Saturday…our longest training run on the schedule. I’ve been trying to think of what to post on this. It’s hard to put into words how challenging it is to run this far. A co-worker asked me last week if I was ready to go 21 miles. My quick answer was, yeah as ready as you can be! Responses to “Persistence and Determination”. Feed for this Entry.

Needless to say, it was no walk in the park. The atmosphere was electric and the entire race day was quite an experience. Out of the gate, I was smoking. Why? | Taylor's Marathon Blog
https://taylorbegley.wordpress.com/about
Taylor’s Marathon Blog. Why run 26.2 miles? After much thought (and a little waffling), several of my coworkers and myself have launched into, what we consider, a very bold endeavor. Bold on two fronts:. 1) We are pushing our bodies beyond the limits of what they have previously achieved. 2) We are pushing ourselves to raise large sums of money for those less fortunate at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. ZJ’s Ironblog | I’m not sure why I do this, but it’s fun so I keep going
I’m not sure why I do this, but it’s fun so I keep going. July 21, 2009. On July 11th, I headed down to Chattanooga, TN to compete in the Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon. The bike went really well. The course was very hilly but I ended up going fairly fast anyways. I averaged 17.5 mph, 1.5 mph faster than what I train at. I might have been going a little fast but this is something that I wanted to test. Ironman – You will do this. June 11, 2009. Flying Pig Marathon – race report. May 5, 2009. May 1, 2009.
