February 1, 2010. Cambridge and the former ambassador to America. Posted by Hannah under Uncategorized. We took the train to Cambridge last Friday to tour the University and Fitzwilliam Museum. The Fitzwilliam was absolutely breathtaking. While it is relatively compact, it had the most aesthetically pleasing interior I’ve ever seen. (Pictures will be uploaded to Flickr soon! A Few Lessons from ARI. I’m back in the USA. I’ve been dwelling on my time in Japan. My next few posts will be dedicated to these thoughts. For the moment, I’ll deviate from my standard “farm lessons” to talk about how my world has changed since ARI…. 1) Food is sacred. You are perhaps saying, of course, thousands of children are dying in Africa right now! But, even if you say that, you probably didn’t finish your dinner last night; let food rot in the fridge; wasted something because you didn’t like it.

What’s in a name… →. Every time I cough in public, I get the idea that the quarantine police will show up. Many people here live behind a face mask to prevent the spreading and catching of germs. I understand why, but I get the feeling I’m constantly watched with the intention of shunning if I make any movement that could possibly spread germs. Yesterday Nate took me to this AMAZING sushi bar (or buffet? I’ve never seen anything like it! It rolls around on a giant conveyor belt. Octopus is a bit chewy.
