African Alchemy – Page 2 – Back in the light-filled continent
https://africanalchemy.wordpress.com/page/2
Back in the light-filled continent. An unexpected discovery under my old Crepuscule rose hedge, growing between bushy plectranthus and a weeded area, on the border of the uncultivated: Black Nightshade,. This short-lived perennial bush grows wild right across Africa and I have seen it in the garden before, failed to pay enough atttention. The white flowers with the bright yellow stamens are tiny but unmistakeable. Local names of African nightshade include. From the Zulu). Poultices of the leaves or i...

A blog about nothing…. Pau Hana →. What do you do when things just don’t go your way? Try and study hard for an exam, put in the hours and really feel confident that you understand the material, and you get a 68 out of 100. Interestingly, my class got an average of 68 out of 100. We’re all pretty pissed off. I don’t know why we all did so poorly, but I can’t think it’s because we’re a bunch of morons. On July 29, 2010 in Uncategorized. Pau Hana →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Magic in These Hills: Return to Magic
http://magichills.blogspot.com/2011/06/return-to-magic.html
Magic in These Hills. Something and reclaim my status as the witch of the family. Posted by Livia Indica. I certainly understand your feelings. I went through a similar situation - so much stuff going on in my life too and I went several years of not actually doing magic. I also came to realise that this in itself was a magical act, allowing the experience of the events to create some kind of alchemical change. so the magic being done was to me within rather than external. Magic in These Hills. Eris and Her Shiny Golden Apple. Well, not exactly. Eris only tosses a golden apple with a beauty queen title into a crowd of narcissistic deities. Said deities make the situation worse by allowing a mortal, a mortal! PS I'm doing my own internal synchroblog so please check out this golden apple tattoo. Over at my pagan tattoo blog. Our African Adventures
Sunday, August 26, 2012. Boyd gets to work on cars. Just 6 of us. It has been nice to get to know President Omer and his wife on such occasions. Over here, training is an exception; not a rule. Had never tried before. Winter has turned to summer (no spring). One day it was winter and the next day it was summer. No gradual change just one season to another, overnight. Temperatures are in the high 80’s. It won’t be long until we are wishing for the cool days to be back with us. Sunday, August 19, 2012.
