Wednesday, October 21, 2009. Our favorite army man. We love you Dad! Family photos are done! We took these pictures in August. We wanted to get a great family photo before Paul left for Afghanistan. We are so excited that they are finally ready. And we love them. Come visit us to see the real, big ones in the house! Tuesday, October 13, 2009. It was just a lovely weekend. Halloween was a great day. More great weather, four wheeling, picking apples, making cute halloween food, etc. Since we hadn't had a chanc...

Colton family: July 2012
http://pkcoltonfamily.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. Just took a picture of our little owl buddy. This is what Paul got to keep the birds from hanging out on our boat and pooping all over it. It actually has been helping a lot. I think we have started a new trend. A couple of other boats just got some owls and so did the restaurant at the marina. After playing in the water we decided to head back. Lucy and I got some good practise driving the boat today. Lucy driving a 20,000 pound boat. No big deal right? This evening we had a treat...

Colton family: adjusting...
http://pkcoltonfamily.blogspot.com/2013/02/adjusting.html
Thursday, February 21, 2013. Here are a few pics from this past couple of weeks. Our last picture of the boat as we said goodbye. A sad moment. It kept us safe and took us to amazing places. We filled 13 army duffle bags to fly home. This was taken when Paul and the girls took the first load to the airport while the boys and I waited at the marina for our turn since the bags wouldn't all fit in one car load. It was exhausting to lug those bags around! We all made and exchanged valentines and we had a ball.

Friday, January 25, 2013. Alders Cay, Chub Cay 1/19-1/22. A beautiful sunset soon after we anchored at Alders Cay. This floating concrete dock we found reminded us of a scene from National Treasure - good balancing huh? I got a few pictures to upload! First time in forever! That makes me happy. It had a great beach with super soft sand and cool shells. It had big palm trees with ripe coconuts (we snagged a few and they were yummy! Paul and Emily went spearfishing and Paul was successful! The kids were ve...

This past weekend we went to the Kimball Art Center in Park City to see a cool exhibit with Lego scultpures. If you like legos, you should go. Plus, it is free so even better! Oh, I was looking through pictures and realized I didn't do a post for our last stop in the Bahamas, Bimini, so I am going to put a few here. The Colto...

Colton family: June 2013

Monday, June 24, 2013. It's all about Jack. Jack's mission farewell was on Sunday, May 26. It was a great day with friends and family. Jack did a fabulous job on his talk and even used his mystery word with amazing ease! A tradition where uncle Ken gives the missionary to be a strange, random word they have to incorporate into their talks with only a few minutes notice to prepare). Jack's word was sphygmomanometer. Pretty awesome! We are so excited for Jack's adventure! Friday, June 7, 2013. May, 2013...
