Chasing daylight in North Davidson, NC. Thursday, December 11, 2008. Jesus as the climax of history. Part of what makes Christmas so great is not just the supernatural aspects of it, but the humanity of a people long desperate for a Savior to come, long desperate for hope. Hope you like this :). Jonathan's Page: Christmas Recommendations...
http://jonathanlaurag.blogspot.com/2008/11/christmas-recommendations.html
Chasing daylight in North Davidson, NC. Saturday, November 15, 2008. With that, I wanted to mention a few things that are essential to our Christmas, that I highly recommend. Andrew Peterson: Behold the Lamb of God. Sarah McLachlan - Wintersong. The Stingiest Man in Town. Thanks for the recommendations. I will definitely have to check out both of the CDs, especially since "Sarah" is one of Brent's all-time favorite female artists. November 19, 2008 at 2:52 AM. Jonathan's Page: February 2009
http://jonathanlaurag.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Chasing daylight in North Davidson, NC. Wednesday, February 4, 2009. What does the 23rd Psalm mean? My wife and I were in a meeting last night where a woman opened the meeting in prayer after reading from the 23rd Psalm. She had an Amplified Bible translation so the reading went something like this:. The Lord is my shepherd, [to feed, guide, and shield me] I shall not lack. It was then that she prayed a prayer thanking God that he wanted his children to prosper and that was His great hope for all of us.

The goings-on of the Alfaro family as our lives change with our daughters, Ivy and Isabella. Monday, December 27, 2010. Ivy and Isa's first Christmas of sharing gifts. Isa is not a big fan of any bearded men, but we tricked her into a grin! Besides the general Christmas fun, this year was extra-special because for the first time in 63 years, we had a true White Christmas with snow falling from 9:30 on Christmas morning all the way through the night. In total we got about 7.5 inches! Amanda has a blog?

Jonathan's Page: Book Review: The Prodigal God (Keller)
http://jonathanlaurag.blogspot.com/2009/01/book-review-prodigal-god-keller.html
Chasing daylight in North Davidson, NC. Thursday, January 22, 2009. Book Review: The Prodigal God (Keller). By Timothy Keller - 4.5 out of 5 stars. My brother bought me this book for Christmas, and I finished it today. I actually was able to go through the entire book today, while taking notes, so you can know that it isn't a huge book. It is small and roughly 13o pages. Some of my favorite quotes in Keller's book are as follows:. One of the ironies of the parable is now revealed. The younger son's f...

Jonathan's Page: 4 months
http://jonathanlaurag.blogspot.com/2009/01/4-months.html
Chasing daylight in North Davidson, NC. Tuesday, January 20, 2009. God continues to impress on me the motion of life, its constant progression in spite of us. This week I lost my grandfather. I think losing someone always makes us look back over everything. We see pictures we haven't seen in years and years, and thoughts get brought up that make us realize that time is constantly moving. Here are some of her four month old pictures:. Subscribe to: Post Comments by THE GOODMANS. View my complete profile.
