This video made the rounds earlier this week- a law student at GWU who was "protesting" on Wall Street and claiming that Chase Bank took his parents' home, even though they "played by the rules." Thursday, April 16, 2009. I went to the Tuscaloosa Tax Day Tea Party yesterday after work. I had to leave around 6:15, unfortunately. But it was a good experience, and I'm looking forward to the next one. Here are just a few photos from the afternoon. This kid is going to have a lot of federal debt to pay off. So will his kids. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. UA's naive children protest HB 56. After lunch I happened across a group of students protesting Alabama HB 56 (the immigration law). It was about what I expected. I was amused by one sign which read "Down with this sort of thing! Visible at the :04 mark of the video below). The others were the typical racism-based arguments, rooted in emotion rather than logic. I hope these kids grow up to use their brains rather than their bleeding hearts.
