Coup de García: October 2014
http://coupdegarcia.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2014. Just one more post and let's pretend I'm caught up please. Saying goodbye to our AZ home. Saying goodbye to our wonderful neighbors. This dog, Maggie, was the dog that cured Claire of cynophobia (had to look that one up- irrational fear of dogs). Goodbye bookshelf that I hated, re-did, then loved. And goodbye fireplace. One of our best friends in Mexico moved back to the states the week after we arrived. We met them at the zoo for a final rendezvous. I got some rockin pics of ...

Coup de García: September 2014
http://coupdegarcia.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 21, 2014. We got a tour of the main church. The detail was amazing with all of the altars gold-leafed. The gold leaves were stuck on using cactus juice. We drove up a labyrinth of streets to get to this Rio-esque Christ. The platform was littered with big black beetles which terrified Iris. View of the city from the teleferico. The kids pretended to be afraid of heights. Iris wasn't pretending but isn't showing her terror in this pic. View leaving the city. Thursday, September 18, 2014.

the stubbs: New Aspirations
http://andynkierra.blogspot.com/2008/11/new-aspirations.html
Friday, October 24, 2008. Have been playing piano for 2 or 3 months now, and I have been so impressed with how quickly they have learned something new! They both have taken so well to playing and are very consistent with practicing (I do nudge them a bit in that direction at times). Their skills are improving all of the time. So my boys have been such an inspiration to me with their willingness to learn something new, that I have decided to do the same. My fingers don't hurt. I may be slow but at least.

the stubbs: Beantown Babies Once Again
http://andynkierra.blogspot.com/2009/01/beantown-babies-once-again.html
Wednesday, January 07, 2009. Beantown Babies Once Again. We are moving to Boston! Though most everyone knows of our news, it doesn't become official until I blog about it, right? Andy will be attending BU as a 2yr. endodontic resident. We are currently planning a trip in the Spring to find a place to live. Which I am anticipating will be difficult. BUT, we are so excited to be going back "HOME"! If any of you knew how we felt about Boston when we left, you would be completely. By this. Let me explain.

Friday, July 13, 2012. Anyway, I've actually got several pictures for this month, given all the parties. Mar 14 - Pi Day. Danny hard at work . only to just realize he'd used the wrong formula, haha. Mar 16 - Danny's Birthday. Danny's 24th birthday - I made him a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, just like last ...

Sarah and Danny: February 2012
http://sdgarcia.blogspot.com/2012/07/february-2012.html
Friday, July 13, 2012. And, a little proof that spring does exist in Texas . these just happened to be taken in February. I loved seeing all the blooming flowers and budding trees and the baby ducks on my way to work and loved the beautiful spring weather that stays for a week or so. And, one "upside" (I suppose you could say) of getting sick a lot was that I've losing a lot weight. I finally fit into my skinny jeans and my favorite sweater from high school! Friday, March 18, 2011. Thanksgiving and other November stuff. Btw, none of us, especially me, are nearly the shutterbugs as Elena or other family members, so here are a few pictures we got). The lovely traditional Thansgiving feast. And of course, it just isn't Thanksgiving without nearly a pie per person! Plus, I LOVE my new glass pie pan, though it's on the big side for fruit pies.), and of course the classic staple and my favorite, pumpkin pie! Harry Potter 7, pt 1 midnight showing! We are both huge.

Sarah and Danny: November 2011
http://sdgarcia.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 21, 2011. Back track to April again) TOFW. Remember how I said this past April was super busy? We got to the main auditorium where I realized this event was HUGE. It sat a full crowd of nearly 2,000 women and girls (this year the did a combined teenage girls and adult women, splitting up for different talks on Saturday morning)! It felt like they were focusing on entertaining the crowd more than uplifting them. The lovely ladies (l-r) Kay, Elena, me and Jennifer. Hard to believe it's alr...
