http://quiltinnstitchinglady.blogspot.com/2009/10/pink-saturday_09.html
Friday, October 9, 2009. Today is pink Saturday . This weekly event is hosted by Beverly. From How Sweet the Sound. My contributions for today are these pictures of a garden somewhere in our neighbourhood while we were taking a stroll. That pink bush was of such a beautiful colour that I had to take a picture of it. So we went back home to get my camera and I am sure you agree with me that that was worth going back for. Posted by My name is Riet. Happy Pink Saturday and nice weekend. Riet, wat moooooi!

Whatever fills the mind at the moment :-). To Love . . . It’s The Sweetest Thing. January 17, 2011. My heart aches (in a good way) and smiles because of this picture. Wouldn’t you agree? I’m not talking of love solely in a romantic way. It’s love that is universal. To love our family, friends, “special someones”, . . . Miscellaneous Thoughts . . .: June 2014
http://weareflyingnow.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 5, 2014. Good Fences Thursday in Williamsburg. I come to you today from Virginia Beach, VA, where I am spending time with my daughter and her family as they prepare for a transfer to San Antonio, TX. My son-in-law has been stationed here for the past four years and one of the things I will miss most about visiting here is going to Colonial Williamsburg. Today's fences and gate are at the Bruton Parish Church. This is one sturdy gate but I love the embellishments on top to make it pretty.

Most of these photos are from Pinterest unless otherwise noted. Now this is relaxation! Always what I need! OK, twist my arm!

Thursday, August 13, 2015. Zinnias in formation guarding the vegetable garden. Zinnias are popular garden flowers because they come in a wide range of flower colors and shapes, and they can withstand hot summer temperatures, and are easy to grow from seeds. They are grown in fertile, humus-rich, and well-drained soil, in an area with full sun. They will reseed themselves each year. Zinnia peruviana was introduced to Europe in the early 1700s.
