Bartering with Bread- who knew? October 29, 2011 · Filed under Meals and Restaurants You Can't Resist. 183 Tagged bartering bread. When its slow at work, I like to give myself some “Me” time. Today was fun because I got two new food magazines, so I was able to browse (and drool) for the majority of the morning. I started with Food and Wine, one of my favorite sources for good recipes. I came across this article that probably made my day. I just love this idea! Over the years, she has even created her own...

January DB challenge; Biscuits! January 24, 2012 · Filed under Daring Bakers Challenges. 183 Tagged biscuits and gravy. Biscuits. Honestly, I have never been a huge fan. Granted, most of them were store-bought (A.K.A hard and funny tasting,) but I was a little sceptical of this challenge. However, my husband loves biscuits, so I decided that I would have fun with this. Soft and flaky on the inside, crispy and firm on the outside. Here is the link to the recipe. You will need to try this! 1/2 Cup cold milk.

Easy Alfredo Sauce - The Cowboy's Wife

http://thecowboyswife.weebly.com/1/post/2011/08/easy-alfredo-sauce.html

A few weeks ago, we had this dinner at my neighbor's house. I absolutely loved it and so did all four of the little kids sitting around the table. I asked what was in it. and was surprised to hear it was just cream of chicken soup and cream cheese. So here is my version of it. It really ends up tas. Ting like a cheesier version of homemade Alfredo sauce. It just takes about 1/3 of the time to make. Here's what you need:. 8 oz cream cheese. 1 can cream of chicken soup. 12 oz canned chicken breast.

Thursday, July 26, 2012. Fleur de Sel Double Chocolate Cookies. Posted by Taylor Elise. Nothing inspires me to bake more than tasting something amazing baked by someone else. I'm always thinking (maybe a little egotistically) "I could make this! The first week after moving in together, Jon and I went a little crazy with eating out. Baking As Therapy

Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Have I ever mentioned my love for Rachael Ray? She taught me how to cook, and for that I am forever grateful. This is one of the first of her recipes that I made, and years later, it is still one of our favorite go to dinners. This one couldn't be simpler. Look I'll show ya. Mix the cooked pasta and the sauce. (I use fresh basil and oregano when I have it, but dried will do.). Then you spoon the bechamel sauce over the pasta. Lookin' good.lookin' good. Are ya hungry yet?
