Confession of an Avacado Addict | Baking with Bite
https://bakingwithbite.wordpress.com/2013/02/12/confession-of-an-avacado-addict
Learning to bake one bite at a time. Confession of an Avacado Addict. So I have a confession to make…Laura and I are addicted to avocados. Let’s just say that when we don’t have avocados or someone finishes the last one, all hell breaks loose (cue scene in mean girls). I’m just kidding we don’t actually get like that…. Anyways, I found this really good avocado pudding recipe. I had no idea avocado could be made into a pudding before. So I was like why not try it, what’s the harm? Remove avocados from the...

Learning to bake one bite at a time. Archive December, 2012. Fun Food and Workout Tips. It’s the Italian flag! A total coincidence that made a simple lunch even more delicious. In two days it will be January first and our plans for the new year involve going to Toronto with some friends to celebrate. As we sat trying to decide what to bake for the new year we were kind of stumped actually. What seems to be a New Year’s treat (other then alcohol of course ;)? Well, our plan goes as follows:. Cupcakes that...

Learning to bake one bite at a time. Archive February, 2013. So I decided to mix it up a bit (I’m so daring aren’t I? Instead of making another sandwich post I decided why not make a breakfast one instead! Breakfast is by far my favourite meal of the day. Is it bad that at night when I’m in lying bed trying to fall asleep I think about what I am going to have for breakfast the next day? I just love waking up in the morning to a nice bowl of cereal, pancakes, toast or whatever I feel like eating! Stir in ...

https://bakingwithbite.wordpress.com/2013/02/08/a-sandwhich-for-lunch-i-think-so
Learning to bake one bite at a time. A sandwhich for lunch? My first one I made was a Sautéed Strawberry Avocado and Goat Cheese Sandwich which was taken from edible perspective. 2 slices of bread. 4 medium strawberries, thinly sliced. Goat’s milk mozzarella, thinly sliced (I just had regular goat cheese). 1t unrefined coconut oil. 1T balsamic vinegar (I used apple cider vinegar). Black pepper sea salt to top. Toast the bread and place on a cooling rack [avoids sogginess] to stay crisp but not hot. Peal ...

Learning to bake one bite at a time. Archive May, 2012. Nothing like a good muffin, right? Right It’s strange though because neither of really like muffins that much (no excited giggling was involved). Muffins are not really a prominent dessert in the Italian cuisine. But that’s exactly why we wanted to try them out! Although no chocolate was involved in the making of these muffins they still turned out pretty darn good! 2 cups all-purpose flour. 3 teaspoons baking powder. 1/2 cup vegetable oil. However,...

Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Puppy Love mini cupcakes decorated with pink and red heart sprinkles for little ears and noses. I love using sprinkles and candies to make faces. Remember these pandas. I did something similar using chocolate chips for ears and noses. A candy challenge of sorts. It’s just fun for me to make something with what I have on hand. And make them easy at the same time. And mini, too. More cupcakes. More cuteness. You can use the cupcake recipe from the panda post. I usually pick these...

Baking with Bill :: Welcome
What's Baking with Bill? Baking with Bill is like having a friend come into your kitchen and show you how to bake! Unlike the TV cooking shows, we don’t break for commercial, pull out a bowl that’s been through two more steps or skip over any steps. We only jump ahead in time when dough needs refrigeration, when the cookie sheet goes into the oven or when an icing or glaze needs to dry. Baking with Bill was filmed in a real k. Itchen, not a TV studio. 2012 Baking with Bill .
Baking with Bite | learning to bake one bite at a time
Learning to bake one bite at a time. So, this blog is pretty random. I mean, we post about our experiments in the kitchen, some healthy living tips, and then some straight up random stuff pertaining to what’s happening in our lives. Yup Like I said, pretty random. You know what else is random? I mean, we don’t have ANY butter. Naturally, I google, butter replacements. I can add a little twist on the recipe, I reason. Applesauce, greek yogurt, date puree… Um, no thanks. I want my butter! Instead of making...
