http://jkkruns.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Stuff about iron deficiency. Sunday, May 17, 2015. A little bit of training. When I first moved to Canberra, I joined the. The sessions so far have been long intervals. All the sessions I've been able to attend have been 800m intervals with a 400m jog recovery. However, other interval lengths have been 1000m and 1200m. I think I'm glad I missed those sessions! Mmm work those glutes. It is interesting to note speedygeoff also has issues with overworked muscles as mentioned in his blog today. Oh, hi there.

Stuff about iron deficiency. Saturday, November 8, 2014. A running teeter totter. There's been a fair bit of fatigue to contend with since returning from the US. On the plus side, the muscles are not tight and uncomfortable, the fatigue is more of a general malaise, similar to what it was like when it all began way back when (it's been nearly 4 years! The IRONic Jogger: Back to the hills
http://jkkruns.blogspot.com/2015/06/back-to-hills.html
Stuff about iron deficiency. Thursday, June 18, 2015. Back to the hills. It is unclear why I am overloading the hamstrings on the flat, it could be to do with muscle weaknesses elsewhere such as the glutes and core. So I am currently consulting with someone on how to correct these imbalances and see if I can banish tired and tight hamstrings. Only time will tell. Watch this space. June 19, 2015 at 11:36 AM. June 21, 2015 at 5:43 PM. Thanks TF, I knew you would have only good things to say about hills!

It was good to see so many familiar faces out there, with a special appearance by speedygeoff. Who was very happy with his run despite the ever fogging glasses issue. It was off to Wilbur's. After the handicap, a favourite place for coffee and brunch. Friends' results for the Thomas Series (10km). Steve kindly stopped to act as a marshall as cones and signs were taken away too soon! Oh, hi there.

Stuff about iron deficiency. Sunday, September 14, 2014. So no doubt the weight change was also an assisting factor in their performance. They are both lining up on 27 September for the Centenary 101 teams challenge, combining with Elizabeth (another lab rat) and DaveO (a freak of nature) to take on Vince Puffy, Jackie F, Vanessa H and Tom Brazier. Can the lab rats hold their form and win the event? It's going to be a great contest, one not to be missed! Thursday, September 4, 2014. Time will tell ;-).

Running into a brick wall: November 2005
http://runningintoabrickwall.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Thursday is the new Friday. It is flippin' cold here tonight. We ran a little after work tonight and the temp was a very crisp 37. Blah! Really, I just need a better pair of running tights, mine are pretty pansy and I naturally have a cold butt to begin with. Tonight I did 4 miles, averaging around 9.12/mile. I felt like I was going around 10, so I was pretty surprised by my times. The cold air made my legs feel like molasses. PS the finale of the biggest loser was awesome!
