Say hello to our little friend: A new bike route between Uptown and Oak Lawn! We lovingly refer to it as the UPLAWN. This new route uses Fairmount Street, Welborn Street, and Holland Avenue to create an easy ride from the State-Thomas area, through Uptown, and into Oak Lawn. Fairmount between Howell and McKinney.

Wednesday, 16 March 2011. Summer is slowly sneaking up on us, the time where I turn into a 16 year old addicted to:. The smell of a bike running rich. The smell of fresh chain lube. The coffee whilst waiting for the bike to warm up in the mornings. The slip sliding on the Teflon tyres on the wet Scottish roads. The two fingers waved aggressively in the bus driver’s face. The time to mock Mauro for not having his big bike license yet. The 3 hours spent with Ann cleaning the bikes late Sunday afternoons.
