Thursday, March 5, 2009. Week 7 Blog Posting. I think educators should try to go as far as possible to match technology in the classroom and instruction to the technology students use. Students will already be knowledgeable and comfortable with the technology so they will know how to use it, and they might enjoy it more if it something they are familiar with. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Delicious del.icio.us. Tell me how you feel about delicious site and what you think about it. Will you use it? Personally, I don't really have much of an opinion on del.icio.us. I've never had any real reason to use it, as most of what I use online can be found with a simple Yahoo search. Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Thursday, April 2, 2009. The assignments I did this week went really well. I enjoyed making my teacher brochure and resume and felt it was really beneficial to know how to do. I thought the brochure was really fun to create, and I think it is something I will use when I begin teaching. Apparently, VoiceThread is a type of multimedia presentation that includes voice, images and videos. I think that if teachers tried to match the technology used in the classroom to the amount of technology that students used at home, then the students wouldn't ever get off the computer. The classroom is a place for learning, and yes it is good for teachers to use a wide variety of technology in their classroom, but matching the amount the students use? I think that would be excess.
