Gardening for Health: November 2006

http://gardeningforhealth.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html

Discovering in our home garden, the health benefits and pure joy of growing our own fresh organic vegetables, and stopping to smell our own beautiful roses. Monday, November 13, 2006. The Last of the Summertime Produce. This was what I call the last of the really, truly summertime produce that I got out of the garden. It may not look like much to someone else, but I was thrilled! One cantaloupe, and one banana pepper. The cantaloupe did not taste like much, but it sure was pretty! Links to this post.

Discovering in our home garden, the health benefits and pure joy of growing our own fresh organic vegetables, and stopping to smell our own beautiful roses. Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Is it possible to garden, raise new puppies, have a life, and be sane too? I can't believe that it has been almost four months since my last entry in this gardening blog. The time flies so fast! It has been a very hectic time - we have been trying to get seeds started and plants established before the. The puppies love organ...

Fieldgreens: May 2009

http://fieldgreens.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 6, 2009. As if I couldn't get over-excited enough about a regular year of seedlings, the honorable Heart of The Beast Theater. Landed on "Our Common Treasury" (dirt) as the theme for Minneapolis' May Day Parade. The resulting "Sprout" section of the parade sent out a call for seedlings to be carried through the heart of Minneapolis and distributed to anyone in the crowd of thousands who would plant them. Fieldgreens: Fungus Gnats!

http://fieldgreens.blogspot.com/2010/04/fungus-gnats.html

Monday, April 26, 2010. While tending my seedlings this morning after a long weekend away at the DFL convention in Duluth, I noticed some movement in one of the pots where the seeds had failed to germinate. Upon very very close inspection, I saw teeny tiny white/clear worms moving about. I dug around and didn't see them in any of the other failed pots (and most of the babies are doing great. But they are pretty hard to see. A little digging on line and I think I've got it: Fungus Gnat Larvae.

A Day in the Life of Dawn: I have No Idea

http://adayinthelifeofdawn.blogspot.com/2010/06/i-have-no-idea.html

A Day in the Life of Dawn. Saturday, June 5, 2010. I have No Idea. It's somehow self affirming when people like your house enough to offer you $ for it. I don't know why; I'm not my house, but the fact that they liked something that much to give us their hard earned cash made me feel better about having to have kept it SO clean. We accepted their offer. What's the next step? AND WE"RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME! Yep What you said. Love you guys. We are praying! June 9, 2010 at 9:34 PM. June 11, 2010 at 5:13 PM.

Fieldgreens: June 2008

http://fieldgreens.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, June 25, 2008. I guess the whole mystery rodent threw me for a loop. Summer is well under way. The garden has long been dug and planted. But I lost my will to record it for a while. The good news is there are friendlier, lovelier mystery creatures outdoors in the garden. Well, so far friendly - how much damage can one guy do to a whole grapevine? How many will make it past the squirrels and into adult grape-dom? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Next year in the garden.

Review: Love Hate & Other Filters by Samira Ahmed. Love, Hate and Other Filters. On January 16th 2018.
