She and Stella played and played. She loves her Nana. Puppet show in the backyard with Nana. We share a meal. Tuesday, October 12, 2010. How do people do it? My friends with two-plus kids manage to post pictures to their blogs somewhat regularly, but needless to say.I have struggled. When I have a rare free moment to myself, I rarely think of my blog as a priority when I am surrounded by disgusted dishes, or produce that somehow needs to be made into dinner, or bits and pieces of god know what on the floor. Monday, February 28, 2011. The Past Months Developmentally. Her 18-month advancements were downright shocking to me - tackling 3-syllable words and 3-word sentences - I'm forcing myself to write this down so that I don't forget the wonderment of this time in our lives. I often think there is no way I can forget the amazing things she does or how old she was when she did them, but I do. Which meant the other boob. And then she started to yell out, Applesauce! Little people are so fun and fascinating.

Saturday, March 27, 2010. Stella's eighth month has been huge. She has learned to kiss (though more "French" than probably appropriate.). She has perfected crawling (though it be a crazy crawl):. And a week or so ago, after months of saying it and showing it, she surprised us with an actual wave when we said, "Bye Bye". She has made lots of friends:. Winter Solstice →. January 20, 2014. Snowy sunrise on our street. Laila is truly an experience seeker, a sensation seeker. She demands to go out and feel the snow in her bare feet at 7am whenever we have snow (or rain for that matter, or even frost). Making big plans, diagramming a path for sleds in our yard….
