Youll feel like you are stepping back in time. The Bridge of Sighs at St. Johns college, the Wren library at Trinity, Kings College Chapel and the Wooden Bridge at Queens are just a few of the sights. We dont rush our tours and typically take an hour or so to soak up the atmosphere of The Backs. As we provide Private Tours we can tailor each tour, although we have a standard format that highlights the most interesting elements of the river which has proved very popular.

You are very welcome to bring along some decorations for the punt or indeed a hamper and drinks. We can put on a corporate event to suit your needs. A punting tour along the backs with a glass of wine is simply a lovely thing to do. We have put on large scale school punting trips and even combined these with bike tours and walking tours. Significant discounts are available for large groups. Why not bring your cake on board to enjoy whilst we take you down the river?

Yes indeed we do. We run a payment in advance system here and you can pay using any card via our PayPal system. We are a professional organisation and like to prepare our punts well in advance of our tours so we do require a minimum of 24 hours notice to make a booking. Get in touch and we will see what we can do. Really we need 24 hours notice to make a booking. Do I get a ticket? Can I bring my own food and drink? They do gracefully receive tips however! Can we decorate the punt? What days are you open?

The University of Cambridge has many museums, most of which are free. Full information is available on their website. We’re also keen patrons of Scotsdales Garden Centre. Which is just down the road from the venues. Slightly further away is Peacocks Tea Room. In Ely. While you’re there, check out Waterside Antiques. Just next door.
