Heaven in the Philippines? - Marco Polo... (with a case of jet lag)
http://marcopolojetlag.livejournal.com/4185.html
Marco Polo. (with a case of jet lag). Heaven in the Philippines? May 8th, 2010 at 3:12 AM. Well, I have some sad news to report. and it is that my Philippine experience is over. at least for now. But it was a very nice one, and I hope for a repeat some time in the future. I was able to get everything worked out by going down to the Internet café in town on Friday (on the back of a motorcycle with my laptop bag). With the people rather than spending time. With people, so I'm not scolding myself too much.

Pictures of Rebecca and Elizabeth. New Testament Church Source. I know I've been posting a lot about Elizabeth lately; I suppose that's because she just keeps growing and changing so fast and I'm trying to record things before I forget them. 26th-Jun-2010 08:38 pm (UTC). Hehe, I have to take the credit for the birthday thing. Oops. I guess I didn't think about the consequences, I was just making conversation, lol! I' l be more careful in the future. Language acquisition - Daily Adventures
http://georgeandcindy.livejournal.com/10605.html
Pictures of Rebecca and Elizabeth. New Testament Church Source. I am constantly fascinated by the process of language acquisition. I now believe the statistic I read once may be accurate: children master their first language normally by age three. Or in the song, "Everybody ought to know," she sings, "Everybody have to know.". If you're interested in the discussion, leave me a comment. . . . 18th-Feb-2010 09:43 pm (UTC). Great job, Cindy! I do remember when I could translate for my siblings pretty well!

Pictures of Rebecca and Elizabeth. New Testament Church Source. I have to say that Elizabeth has pretty much caught up with her sister in language skills. She uses complete, correct sentences to make observations about all kinds of things. The only major thing she struggles with is saying the "s" sound, so soap becomes "dope" or sometimes, "sssss-dope". Haha! Obedience issues aside, what are we going to do when reading is already getting in the way of responsibility and she's not even two? This is Amanda...
