Monday, March 24, 2014. St Patricks Day Snow. Well, one day after 70 degrees, we got a big snow! On St Patrick's Day of all days. We had about 8" at our house. The best part was we went sledding for the first time! We first tested Avery on the sled in our little slope backyard:. Then found a good big hill nearby and went flying down in the fresh powder! Saturday, August 6, 2011. A very , very Half Birthday to you! Pierce is 6 months old! Holy cow a half a year old. How did this happen? He is so great! He's been more interactive and makes noises ALL THE TIME! He loves to try and talk. He even laughs! He's loving eating foods and hasn't eaten anything yet that he didn't like. The Many Adventures of C and K. A place to share tidbits of our blessed life! Sunday, November 10, 2013. Fall, Halloween and Red Ribbon Week. We did try out a local pumpkin patch after some friends said it was "awesome". When we drove up to find a flat field with pumpkins strewn about, I wasn't impressed. Add to the fact that it was 99 degrees and we had a bummer of a "fall" experience. But we did get pumpkins! The dog throws her off- she looks like Dorothy, but she's actually Wendy Darling from Peter Pan.
