Friday, May 22, 2009. A day of firsts for our family! On Saturday May 16 our family had a couple of milestones. The first one was the completion of my first (and probably last) marathon! After 16 weeks of training I was so happy to finally be running down Ogden Canyon. I didn't finish quite as fast as I'd hoped for, but my ultimate goal was to just do it, and I did it! Monday, July 12, 2010. Grandma and Grandpa brought in ice and treats! We couldn't convince them to get into the water. Emillie, Taralee, Randi and Natalie can sure keep each other giggling! MmmmSmores.Melanie's favorite part! This is the first year that we were owners of a boat. We kept it running for about 3 days straight! Everyone that knows me knows that I like water about as much as a cat, but I am into family things, and this is something we can enjoy together as a family! Ceinture en cuir hermes.

Monday, August 25, 2008. First Day of School. We always have "ABC 123" pancakes for breakfast on the first day of school. This was the first year that I had to do it twice because Emillie leaves for school 2 hours before the younger kids. She was just as excited as they were to get this traditional breakfast! Monday, November 9, 2009. After The Divvy Up I tried to do a few fun things with the kids. We went camping to Twin Lakes with Justin's family, we went to Bear Lake twice, once with Aspen Dental and once with Logan Dental. We also went to the local pool a couple of times. He's been more interactive and makes noises ALL THE TIME! He loves to try and talk. He even laughs! He's loving eating foods and hasn't eaten anything yet that he didn't like. We did try out a local pumpkin patch after some friends said it was "awesome". When we drove up to find a flat field with pumpkins strewn about, I wasn't impressed. Add to the fact that it was 99 degrees and we had a bummer of a "fall" experience. But we did get pumpkins!
