I’ve just found a link to this tutorial via one of my friends on facebook which I think is GORGEOUS! It’s a little taggie blanket in the shape of an owl that is just super cute. My 2 little girls.

Wednesday, February 3, 2016. Halloween Costumes: General Grevious and Boba Fett. Well, I would say that some follow-up is in order. First off. General Grevious! I did in fact complete the General Grevious costume in 2013, and he LOVED it! Here are a few shots of the work along the way. Partial deconstruction and reconstruction of the 2013 costume. This kid plays hard in his costumes, so a lot of it had fallen apart by the end of the first Halloween. Rib cage added to the shirt. :). Whenever I am faced wi...

Could still be dead. But just not a lot of sew time. Finished some baby quilts a while back. I have been knitting more-so these days. Maybe a knit post soon? Here are the quilts:. Robots on the front, Mustaches on the back. Just some easy blocks, with swirly FMQ. Staches all folded up. A little label to cover a boo-boo. And then some colors and fun for Reed:. Simple patchwork, with space frogs and dogs on the back. Wrap around backing into a binding. Folded up and ready for delivery. I didn't die, I swear.

My adventures in crafts and cooking, mostly inspired by others. Monday, July 23, 2012. What seems to be a popular pin on Pinterest (or at least amongst people I follow/follow me) is this memory box. The original idea is the brainchild of this. Blogger. The basic idea is to use a shadow box to display all of your movie and event tickets in a nice way that doesn't consume much space and doesn't look too busy! I know it's super simple, but 1) all you need is. As opposed to the fancy tiered ones on Etsy).

Sunday, 14 October 2012. Helen's Bookmarks Mk 2. In 2010, I took part in the Bookmarks. Project which Sarah Bodman at UWE organises (see post here. It is a continuation of the map idea started with 'Lovers' Lanes': again each design features a route plotted between two streets in London, this time representing a great literary partnership. Helen's Best in Show badge for Graz. Was on television. My main issue with the show was that she kept saying that there was no point in her entering all these comp...

Check it out, two posts in less than 4 months! I’ve just got a couple things I’ve had waiting in the wings for a bit here and finally had the get-to-it-ness to cajole poor LSH into taking photos for me. I’ve done approximately 8 million versions (or 3 so far) of the Meret beret. Meet version 2.0, same diamet...
