http://bowlingjoe.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
A (mostly) politics and religion free zone with very little that's actually about bowling. Monday, May 26, 2014. Since my job is moving from Everett to Bothell in a short time, I thought it would be appropriate to conduct a reconnaissance mission to learn about some surrounding craft breweries. We hooked up with our friends Bob and Kathy on a recent Saturday, and being residents of the area they were the perfect tour guides. Our first stop was a little place called Foggy Noggin. The Twelve Bar Boys.

This year, as in 4. Of July’s past, we chose Canada. Vancouver: Looking West Toward Stanley Park. One of those new places is North Vancouver. We found a reall...

A (mostly) politics and religion free zone with very little that's actually about bowling. Friday, March 8, 2013. Part Two - The San Diego Beer Scene. There are 29 microbreweries within the city limits of San Diego. According to my sources, Seattle has 21. Of course I’m not counting the many breweries in surrounding towns in both cases. With limited time, we barely scratched the surface of beer in San Diego but here are a few highlights:. The Taps in the Stone Brewing Tasting Room. I followed up the Jett...

A (mostly) politics and religion free zone with very little that's actually about bowling. Tuesday, October 22, 2013. New York City - Part Two - Times Square and Broadway. When I was growing up, I used to watch the New Year’s Eve TV show. On ABC TV from Times Square. Would introduce a few musical guests. Cameras would pan, showing the huge, bundled up crowd milling about the buildings that seemed to have a million multi-colored lights attached to them. That’s how I remember Times Square. Give us a clean,...

A (mostly) politics and religion free zone with very little that's actually about bowling. Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Things To Do In Denver. The most recent out of town jaunt for BowlingWidow and myself took place a few weeks ago as we had a wedding to attend in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Cheyenne is just 90 minutes or so north of Denver. So we figured, why not extend this trip a little bit and hang out in Denver and environs for a couple of days? Some of the Denver Skyline. 8220; Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.
