Monday, January 14, 2013. I SO wish I had this moment on video! Throughout the game when she was playing forward she made several valiant attempts (probably 5 or so) to score but each one was blocked. She was really frustrated and you could just see the determination rising up in her. Unfortunately, although she was becoming more and more on fire, she was being placed in the goalie and defender positions where she was unable to try to score. I took this picture of my little soccer stud after the game.

Friday, December 3, 2010. Happy Birthday, Aly! Aly turned 6 on November 30. Her birthday always falls around Thanksgiving so we often have a hard time celebrating it on, or even near, her birthday because so many people are out of town, with family, etc. When I asked Aly what she wanted to do for her birthday party she was very specific. She wanted to get a manicure, have her hair done, wear make-up and a fancy dress and then go out to dinner. Awesome! Sounds like my kind of party! Now THAT'S a Pazookie!

Well, i have a little new york schoolgirl :) makenzie started first grade this week. it's funny because she started on wednesday and then had thursday and friday off for rosh hashanah, so a very short first week. this next week will be a little more strange that she is in school all day everyday! In kindergarten she only went for 3 1/2 hours, so her being gone all day will be so weird! She was so excited to start and was bummed to not get to go back yet. :). Schools are quite different here!

Monday, September 29, 2008. I am so excited that the day has finally come! Tanner has started to take multiple steps. I have been warned numerous times by seasoned parents. That when Tanner begins walking, I will have wished he was only crawling. But, it's so amazing to watch him initiate steps without being persuaded. He is still a bit timid with each step, but with those steps comes great excitement from us! Tanner is our first child, and we are excited about almost EVERYTHING he accomplishes.
