Monday, November 18, 2013. Today is Liam's due date and we are still. Waiting for him to make his debut. He is apparently very comfortable inside my belly. If he doesn't show up on his own, I'll get some help on Friday. I'd really prefer not to get the help, but I will if I need to. We'll see. As hard as this has been and become, I have been VERY. Lucky I haven't had any real problems or anything. Minor annoyances really. I wouldn't trade this time for anything. There are so many people ready to meet you!

Monday, July 15, 2013. This weekend was a big one and I loved it! Day 1 - Saturday. Everyone was super antsy and ready to cut the cake, but cake is dessert. We had to eat dinner first. Friday, October 24, 2014. Prep for San Antonio Rock and Roll Marathon. Right now, I've got a bum knee (I think IT band issues). I'm going to see Dr. Martindale tonight, hopefully getting the go ahead to keep training. I couldn't run even 2 miles on Monday. After foam rolling, I was able to make it 5.7 miles. YAY! The every day journey toward making a dream come true. Friday, June 26, 2015. After Ironman Texas, my best girlfriend and I planned a weekend hiking trip. I met her in Flagstaff on Friday afternoon and we drove up to the South Rim. On Saturday we hiked the Bright Angel Trail to Plateau Point and back (roughly 12 miles). On Sunday we hiked South Kaibab Trail to Skeleton point and back (about 6 miles). The following is a pictorial of our weekend in paradise. Enjoy! Our first view of the canyon on Friday.

Wednesday, February 26, 2014. It's been a while since I've updated y'all on things, so while I have a few min I will. Liam arrived on Saturday, Nov 23, 2013 at 6:38am. He was 8 lbs 5 oz and 21.25 in long. We went into the hospital on Thursday evening and he took his time showing up for his big debut. When he finally decided he was ready to meet us, he was gorgeous. We are so amazed by him. He is a healthy baby and so very happy too! He's growing so quickly. I can't believe he's already 3 months old!

I would see the M-Dot logo on someone’s t-shirt or hat and almost burst into tears but had no idea why. I remember my first coach explaining to me that someone could not just “sign up” to “do” Kona and that set me on the long journey to “just get there once”. I would watch the live coverage and my stomach would ache with desire to know what it felt like. Then IT happened to me!
