Stroke Association Resolution Run. March 8, 2015. I ran the 10k today in Glasgow in memory of my Papa John. I’ve run once in the past 8 weeks so obviously I just wanted to get round alive. My dad drove me today which was a nice surprise and he provided some moral support at various points along the course. (It was 2 laps around the green). It wasn’t particularly busy and in true Scottish style, we went through pretty much the full spectrum of weather. Circuit training on Wednesday. Run on Friday evening.

I’m not dead! August 9, 2015. It’s been a long time since I blogged (eep) and a lot but also not a lot has happened. Great Women’s 10k was completed with my mum. She got pretty tired and thus our A and B goals went out the window but we finished and made the C goal of “quicker than last year”. We also did the Oakley Mini 10k in New York in June. The year of fearlessness has begun and is in full swing. starting in january when i had surgery to better myself in every possible way (no, i did not have plastic surgery! In february i was recovering from said surgery, so that was a wash. in march, i started back to school. So, i stopped. Fast forward a few years later. But i am there know, and that has made all the difference. Oh, and emma? She is doing fantastic!

Trip around the sun. This year, per usual, I celebrated my birthday all month. I moved to a new city. Started a new job. Traveled to London for work. Had a pretty epic trip to New Orleans. Ran 100 miles. Celebrated my 6 month wedding anniversary. And adopted a rescue puppy. (Also, by the time I'm posting this, I'm two weeks. Birthday month which I suppose is to be expected with how busy life has suddenly become.). Ran Boston (with a PR). Won a half marathon (sub 1:30). Moved away from San Francisco.
