Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Grand Canyon: Last Sunset of 2008 at Desert View. This was our last stop at the South Rim today. Desert View is located 4 miles from the eastern entrance to the park. From this overlook if you look to the east you can see the flat plains of the Painted Desert. Looking north you see the Colorado River. Standing in front of the Desert View Watchtower. Saturday, May 15, 2010. Rocky Mountain National Park in Spring. Lots of snow up here on Trail Ridge Road. More snow clouds moving in. It was very windy on Trail Ridge Road. An inquisitive bird leaves. My mom got my this alpaca wool hat in Estes Park - I love it! There is a lake behind me somewhere under all this snow. Mom and I at Bear Lake. Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Europe - Travel Inbound. To go to the start of the trip. Previous Stop: Venice and Milan. To get over jet lag on the way back, I had to stay awake the whole flight and the whole next day so that at night back at home, I would fall asleep easily when it was actually waking up time in Europe. The lower arms and complete torso and back are removable to make this an almost completely mesh jacket. The only solid material left is from the elbow to the shoulder. It is really nice. Sunday, May 23, 2010. Snowboarding - Season 1 (Part 2). April 24, 2010 – Loveland Basin. Lots of fresh snow to play in. Up high above the tree line, there was so much space to practice and not get in anyone’s way. I was really enjoying the higher sections of the green runs, but not the lower sections which were crowded, packed down and icy. I love snowboarding Loveland Basin above the tree line.
