Not Quite Canadian: "Special Musical Number"
http://notquitecanadian.blogspot.com/2012/05/special-musical-number.html
Sunday, May 27, 2012. My amazingly talented husband sang a duet today with our good friend, Michael Simmons. The cellist is an adorable16 years old high schooler in our ward, Andy Vo, and I was on the piano. The song Peter chose was the Mack Wilberg/Mormon Tabernacle Choir's version of Homeward Bound. I recorded it with my phone on the pew, so my apologies that it's not the best quality recording. But, you can hear how great the two voices sounded together. Simply beautiful, right? Not Quite Canadian: Mel's Kitchen Cafe
http://notquitecanadian.blogspot.com/2012/05/mels-kitchen-cafe.html
Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Do you know about Mel's Kitchen Cafe. I think it is such an amazing blog and am pleasantry surprised how many of my friends already use her recipes. I can read her blog as if it's a smutty romantic fiction novel! She gives me great ideas and she's always posting fun new recipes. My sister Anne and I have seem to have a personal goal to cook every recipe on her blog. Most all of the dinners and treats I cook are from here, and everything turns out! Is one of our favorite dinners!

Sharley And Ben: July 2010
http://leavittlove.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 10, 2010. I love her honesty. Theres almost a tactile feeling to most of her pictures. I was reading a book this week and came upon this quote by Charles Lamb. Its about his writings but when I read it I automatically thought about photography. This is why I have no interest in photographing landscapes. So my creative sister in law Alycia just did a post where she picked a picture and then told the story behind it. Loved it! I wanted to give it a try. So the picture I chose was. The first ...

http://notquitecanadian.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 24, 2011. My 30th birthday is this week and it's been on my mind for months. It could be said I'm going through a "Third-of-Life-Crisis." So, I'm doing something about it, I'm going to Dubai and Qatar in 2 weeks and I'm so excited! To me, and to people that knew me in my early 20's, this is the perfect trip for me. Fabulous old pictures of Hermana Clark and Siostra Romney. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). San Diego (Pacific Beach), CA. View my complete profile. P" is for Peter. Our Fam of Five!

Not Quite Canadian: June 2011
http://notquitecanadian.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 23, 2011. We went to Magic Mountain with Peter's fantastic cousin and his wife, Ben and Sharley Leavitt. Peter had never been and I hadn't been in at least 5 years. I loved this place in High School! And looks like the place is still loved by High Schoolers. We had a great time! Grabbed lunch at In n' Out and ate in the car on the way up. Peter was the only one who didn't get 'Burger Crotch.'. Before getting onto X2. "Show me your scary face! I hadn't been on it before. Monday, June 6, 2011.

The McCormack Times: Road Trip - Day 5
http://3mccormacks.blogspot.com/2011/05/road-trip-day-5.html
Just another day in the life.once in a while! Monday, May 30, 2011. Road Trip - Day 5. Well, I think San Antonio is definitely worth a repeat visit. We stayed at the nicest La Quinta ever and it was perfectly located for pedestrian touring of the Riverwalk and the Alamo. Pretty easy to get to from the freeway, too. always a plus when driving 40 feet of vehicle! So we cut back through the mall to return to pick up our truck at the hotel and hit the road for Fort Stockton. Now to be honest, there wasn'...

Sharley And Ben: February 2011
http://leavittlove.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Because I got into the BFA I have the opportunity to have a show. My show opens May 1st. Which means prints must go into framing by my birthday, April 7th. My goal is to celebrate both my birthday and a HUGE milestone of having my prints done for senior show this day. Just one problem. I have no idea what I am doing. I think I have this grand vision that my show has to be perfection, something way beyond my actual mental, emotional, and skill level. And your all invited :).

Not Quite Canadian: September 2011
http://notquitecanadian.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 29, 2011. Just got back from the Farmer's Market. There's something so satisfying, domestic, fulfilling and tasty about having a full fruit basket in your kitchen. The title of the post is an inside joke with my sister Liz, even though she may not even remember it. If you think back to "Called to Serve" video, it shows an MTC teacher drilling vocab and saying this over and over again. It translates to vegetables. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. You Remind Me of the Babe. Take note - I ...
