Wednesday Poetry Prompt: July 1st, # 312 | Chase the glowing hours
https://krinau.wordpress.com/2015/07/02/wednesday-poetry-prompt-july-1st-312
Chase the glowing hours. Wednesday Poetry Prompt: July 1st, # 312. This week’s topic was “dead” – a hard word to face in light of the recent passing of someone who played an important role in my life. So much is dredged up by the word, so many meanings, so many interconnected thoughts. And although this poem does not relate to recent events, my heart and prayers do go out to those left behind. Hopefully, the poem isn’t “dead in the water”🙂 (I like to deflect with humour). The fuchsia grows in its pot.

The Parents' Review Blog. Aunt May’s Page. A blog of home-training and culture. They stared at me. I stared at them. They pretended to be fake,. But I knew better than! Their eyes unblinking,. I play that game no more,. But one day, they might start moving,. You never know for sure! April 2, 2014.

Chase the glowing hours. Wednesday Poetry Prompt: As change happens. At the apex of the world. I am lifted up, up, up off my seat set free. As if all gravity had let loose my bounds. Released me to the sky. That I might fly and float away. On the threshold of all newness,. I am brought round, reminded. That all things connected. Hinge on a balance. And back to the ground. I am drawn down and rooted. Again, in all truth –. To look back up at the sky. Krina Ulmer -June 10th. She cries doggedly,. Face bent ...

Stay at Home Fodder. The Raw Material of Being A Stay at Home Father. Her is Going to Love This! I like to, as much as I can, let my kids choose for themselves. I feel like my job as a parent is to provide a boundary for those choices, a predetermined set of things that they can pick from to give them the sense, and hopefully eventually the discipline, of choosing their own life and having a say in their own destiny.
