Sweet Potato Casserole | From the Bottom of a Wine Bottle
https://fromthebottomofawinebottle.com/2016/12/01/sweet-potato-casserole
From the Bottom of a Wine Bottle. Missives and musings along the way to the bottom…. December 1, 2016. I got the basics of this casserole from my friend Jacqui, during our first duty station. She called her recipe “Sweet Potato Pie with Cornflakes” but I’ve evolved it into something a bit different over the years. My guys really love the topping and I adore the sweet potato itself, so it’s a great side dish for our holiday turkey menu. I hope you feel the same! 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained.

Beatitudes of my life. Being grateful for everything in my life…. no matter what…. My Little Red Wagon April 16, 2014. 8212; beatitudesofmylife @ 8:24 am. On my husband’s first official day of work, I began my own “day of work”. After a weekend of trying to traverse the space between where we could park our car and the apartment in which we would be living for the coming weeks, I quickly realized that I needed some help of my own. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make the biggest impact. Enjoy your...

Beatitudes of my life. Being grateful for everything in my life…. no matter what…. Moving is hard October 3, 2014. 8212; beatitudesofmylife @ 12:03 pm. This might be one of the more un-original titles I’ve ever used, but I thought it should be said…. We first moved into temporary housing. This was an interesting transition because of it’s very nature… it was. The apartment we were assigned was in a nice area, but not as easy to navigate (see my previous post entitled My Little Red Wagon. In the meantime,...

Thoughts on Letting Go… | Beatitudes of my life

Beatitudes of my life. Being grateful for everything in my life…. no matter what…. Thoughts on Letting Go… December 4, 2014. 8212; beatitudesofmylife @ 3:04 pm. I’ve never been very good at “letting go”… of things. Of people. Letting go always seemed to be a version of giving up or giving in, and *that* never sat well with me. I never thought of myself as a quitter, so why should I willingly let go of something or someone in my life? I don’t think my thought process changed much until. No matter the size.

Beatitudes of my life. Being grateful for everything in my life…. no matter what…. A quick “frustration” post August 27, 2014. 8212; beatitudesofmylife @ 7:00 pm. We have been dealing with real estate agents over the past five months and if I find that there has been one glaring frustration that absolutely makes me burn… it’s the lack of feedback regarding showings by the agents. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Here’s the link on Trulia. How could someone *not* want to buy it? You are commentin...

Flour tortillas (regular size, your favorite type). Cheese (I used an entire bag of 2% milk shredded sharp cheddar).
