The VM Family Footprints: December 2008
http://growingvmfamily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 28, 2008. Since my hubbie has given me another whole year's worth the reasons to love him, I tried to fill a whole weekend with birthday favorites for him. We started on Friday with a so-good-you-can't-stop-eating-and-need-to-unzip-the-pants dinner at Famous Dave's. My Dave loves BBQ, so we indulged in a feast of ribs, chicken and shredded pork (and cole-slaw, corn bread, corn on the cob and beans). What a wonderful husband and daddy we have! Happy birthday, Babe! Christmas Odds and Ends.

The VM Family Footprints: Happy Birthday and So Long, Summer!
http://vmfamilyfootprints.blogspot.com/2015/08/happy-birthday-and-so-long-summer.html
Saturday, August 8, 2015. Happy Birthday and So Long, Summer! We've been to the aquarium many times and we've shared it with many friends, but letting the girls each pick a school friend to hang out with for the day was another new experience. It was so fun for Dave and I to sit back and take in their interactions. Here are a few fun photos and their captions:. Group shot in the octopus lair. Wall of sardines in the Open Seas tank! Admiring the seemingly hand-painted spotted jellies. Posted by VM Family.

The VM Family Footprints: January 2015

Wednesday, January 28, 2015. A little while ago we checked out a new trampoline place that opened not far from us. It was really fun and we're already looking forward to heading back. The jousting pit was awesome! Loved watching them try to knock each other off the balance beam! There was also a slam dunk basketball court. And a foam pit you could do flips and fancy jumps into. But where Ella spend most of her time was here on the dodge ball court, often winning the match! Posted by VM Family. Right afte...

The VM Family Footprints: December 2014

Saturday, December 27, 2014. I got her this scarf for Christmas, thinking it would be a fun way to spruce up her school polos. This is how she's worn it all day:. Think this Erykah Badu look will catch on at school? Posted by VM Family. Friday, December 26, 2014. Christmas Eve day is traditionally spent turning our kitchen into a cookie making factory. The pastoral staff serves the treats at the Christmas Day service, so making cookies for hundreds of church friends has become a whole family affair.

The VM Family Footprints: November 2014
http://vmfamilyfootprints.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 28, 2014. After such a lovely, family-filled, relaxing day yesterday, today we worked on getting our house all Christmas-y. We had a Griswold Christmas moment when Ella and I fell in love with and insisted on THIS big, beautiful tree:. Posted by VM Family. This year we had a relaxing Thanksgiving at home, just the 4 of us. I didn't go too crazy with the cooking since the theme we were going for was "Stress free and low key". But, putting these ingredients together did succeed in ...Life ...

Elgersma Element: RBY Play-offs 2015
http://elgersmaelement.blogspot.com/2015/05/rby-play-offs-2015.html
Friday, May 22, 2015. Troy's baseball team had their first play-off game recently. They do pretty well and won pretty easily. I wanted to document a couple things about this season. I got a pic of some of our parents. These have been fun people to hang out with. That makes games so much more fun. We'll miss them when the season's over. Troy enjoyed trying a new position-catcher! Elgersma Element: March 2015
http://elgersmaelement.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 19, 2015. We took a quick little family road trip to Arizona to experience baseball Spring Training. It was a blast! Unfortunately Scott misplaced his wallet that day too, but all is good as a grounds crew person picked it up and called us at home. A friend who was still down there was able to bring it home for us. Yay! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Watermark template. Powered by Blogger.
