Ripon SERVE Host Team. A morning of worship to our God. July 22, 2007 by Nate Finley. We just finished our worship service this morning. The church was filled with members from many of the local CRC churches. We raised our voices in worship and Pastor Al brought us a sermon on what is truly God’s will for our lives. After the service, the SERVE group had the opportunity to meet and greet their prayer partners over cookies and coffee. Have a great Sunday! Off to the races…. July 22, 2007 by Nate Finley.

The VM Family Footprints: Happy Birthday and So Long, Summer!
http://vmfamilyfootprints.blogspot.com/2015/08/happy-birthday-and-so-long-summer.html
Saturday, August 8, 2015. Happy Birthday and So Long, Summer! We've been to the aquarium many times and we've shared it with many friends, but letting the girls each pick a school friend to hang out with for the day was another new experience. It was so fun for Dave and I to sit back and take in their interactions. Here are a few fun photos and their captions:. Group shot in the octopus lair. Wall of sardines in the Open Seas tank! Admiring the seemingly hand-painted spotted jellies. Posted by VM Family.

Our Grace Notes: January 2011

Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Our Monday adventure took us downtown to the Pacific Science Center. A friend from church invited us to see the special exhibit he was helping host. They had a model railroad exhibit set up in various places around the center. It was really awesome! The Science Center is really huge and there are so many things to see and do- we'll probably have to go back sometime soon! This one may look like a leaf, but it is really a bug. Tuesday, January 11, 2011. When Matt graduated from...

Our Grace Notes: October 2010

Sunday, October 17, 2010. I'll catch up with my other posts one of these days soon so I don't get too far behind, but I wanted to do this post today. We celebrated a very important and special day today. It seems that through our seminary journey there have been so many "endings" that have gotten us closer and closer to the time when Matt would be an ordained pastor. Today was the final ending! The VM Family Footprints: January 2015

Wednesday, January 28, 2015. A little while ago we checked out a new trampoline place that opened not far from us. It was really fun and we're already looking forward to heading back. The jousting pit was awesome! Loved watching them try to knock each other off the balance beam! There was also a slam dunk basketball court. And a foam pit you could do flips and fancy jumps into. But where Ella spend most of her time was here on the dodge ball court, often winning the match! Posted by VM Family. Right afte...

The VM Family Footprints: December 2014

Saturday, December 27, 2014. I got her this scarf for Christmas, thinking it would be a fun way to spruce up her school polos. This is how she's worn it all day:. Think this Erykah Badu look will catch on at school? Posted by VM Family. Friday, December 26, 2014. Christmas Eve day is traditionally spent turning our kitchen into a cookie making factory. The pastoral staff serves the treats at the Christmas Day service, so making cookies for hundreds of church friends has become a whole family affair.

The VM Family Footprints: November 2014
http://vmfamilyfootprints.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 28, 2014. After such a lovely, family-filled, relaxing day yesterday, today we worked on getting our house all Christmas-y. We had a Griswold Christmas moment when Ella and I fell in love with and insisted on THIS big, beautiful tree:. Posted by VM Family. This year we had a relaxing Thanksgiving at home, just the 4 of us. I didn't go too crazy with the cooking since the theme we were going for was "Stress free and low key". But, putting these ingredients together did succeed in ...Life ...

Our Grace Notes: February 2011

Wednesday, February 23, 2011. So That's Where They Are! A couple of times last week, we got to experience this interesting mix of rain and snow. It was like little snow pebbles falling from the sky. It usually was followed by rain and sometimes accompanied by sunshine. We like it- we get to enjoy some winter fun, but don't have to shovel it! So that's where they are! She even made a doll quilt for Anna's babies. This was a very thoughtful gift that will be treasured! We had a blast! I Guess It's Time.

Our Grace Notes: June 2010

Friday, June 25, 2010. My sister and 2 of her girls spent a couple of days with us. After much driving, we made our way to Millenium Park this afternoon. It was so fun to hang out on the beach. Or decide to play in the Splashpad! What a great afternoon. Now we're off for ice cream! We are becoming quite the traveling family lately. We headed out to Bellevue, Washington this past weekend. We met some really wonderful people, saw some beautiful scenery, and were very blessed by our visit. After Synod, we w...
