growing seasons: June 2008
http://growingseasons.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 30 June 2008. Z is for ZEBRA. So the question is, are zebras black and white stripes, white with black stripes or black with white stripes? Sunday, 29 June 2008. V is for VOYAGE. What about the day his son came to him and said he wanted to leave? I wonder how often his dad tried to convince him not to go? I wonder how many sleepless nights he spent, hoping that things would be different? And what of Jacob? Because He let go for us. And because He loves us unconditionally. Saturday, 28 June 2008.

growing seasons: October 2007
http://growingseasons.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 31 October 2007. B is for BREAD. The choice used to be very simple. Plain or pan? And there was so much bread. Freshly baked big plain loaves with the brown crust on top and lots of pan loaves wrapped in their Mother's Pride coats. But the choice was still simple. Plain or pan? The choice is less simple now. Plain or pan? The choice is very simple. I hope I've made it plain enough. Tuesday, 30 October 2007. B is for BRIDGE. Monday, 29 October 2007. B is for BIRD. More debris on the ground was ...

growing seasons: July 2009

Sunday, 26 July 2009. D is for DONKEY. Donkeys gets a bad press sometimes and possibly not always without some basis for that criticism. They've crossed my path on many occasions and enough instances are memorable enough to be recorded in the annals of my own personal history. We had a favourite Christmas single at home, called 'Little Donkey' sung by, I think, Nina and Frederick and describing the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem. I don't recall it. Of an animal that they deemed to be unclean and...

growing seasons: August 2009
http://growingseasons.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 7 August 2009. C is for CUCUMBER. Sunday, 2 August 2009. S is for SEEDS. You know I've made mistakes in my gardening career. Sometimes I didn't read the instructions properly, sometimes I forgot to water, other times I watered too much but almost always the seeds germinated anyway. And you see, it is God who brings the harvest, not us, but above all we must, even in our imperfections be obedient and faithful and sow the seed. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). C is for CUCUMBER. S is for SEEDS.
