Sunny Side Up: April 2015
http://philipandfamily.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 24, 2015. Passover, Sully and Egg Hunt. Adding the finishing touches to the table. Washing the hands by the head of the household. Seemed to be one of the most. Exciting parts of the meal! Waiting patiently to eat as we listened to Daddy read. Examining sprigs of parsley. The meal "script" and preparation instructions were found in Celebrating Biblical Feasts. A book which came in our home school curriculum this year. Our amazing church family. Who does not change. To finish the weekend, we...

Sunny Side Up: February 2015
http://philipandfamily.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 14, 2015. We've Hit Double Digits! With a newborn in the house and calculating his age by weeks, it's hard to believe Sully's biggest brother has hit double digits in years! Back on January 22, Philip turned 10. 520 weeks old! I wouldn't want to relive my teenage years, but to be a ten year old seems to be a pretty good deal. Here's how Philip spent his birthday. 8:00 am Morning YouTube watching with Braewyn. 9:00 am Odd Squad on PBS and waffles for breakfast. Me and my boy! Philip is ...

Sunny Side Up: July 2014
http://philipandfamily.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 26, 2014. For the past three years of our homeschooling history, I've always begun our school year on the first Monday of August. Sounded good again this year until another friend mentioned starting in July to allow time off for when her new baby came. That made me think. (Quick side note to announce, we're having a new baby join our family in January! The prep work involved pulling everything away from the walls and taping off edges. Our bedroom began a storage unit for a few days. Day tw...

Sunny Side Up: I'm This Many!
http://philipandfamily.blogspot.com/2015/03/im-this-many.html
Saturday, March 21, 2015. For a few weeks after her birthday, Juliet wouldn't say her age but just hold up 4 fingers and say, "I'm this many! Hard to believe that on February 17 our sweet baby Juliet turned 4 years old! I think four is a special age because kids start coming into their own with opinions, interactions with friends, activities, and in our case, dropping the daily nap (for the most part that is! 7:00 am Making muffins with little brother Rylan. 8:00 am Checking out the snow! So excited to o...

Tuesday, May 26, 2015. My Right Hand Girl. Day ONE, night before her birthday: FIRST CONCERT! We took Braewyn, her best friend Anna, Philip and poor little Sully to a Newsboys concert (the band featured in the movie, "God's Not Dead".) It was an awesome concert and I think Braewyn had the best time. Her name was on the screen before the concert when Matthew tweeted something about it being her birthday. Anything with #newsboys made it on the big screen! Oh and a stop at Waffle House first.).

Saturday, December 27, 2014. Christmas with Four Munchkins. Monday, December 22, 2014. It's 4:51 am, perfect time for a post on my blog. All the kids and Matthew are sleeping peacefully, but me and the baby woke up starving! I've eaten a bowl of cereal, read an online devotional, and caught up on my friend's blog. Time for a catch up to my own blog. With an ultrasound included. I'm excited to see our baby again and both grandmas get to come this time too! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, July 25, 2015. See You Later, Dad! After mentioning my blog to a friend, I clicked on it and realized there should be an update. When my Dad had his heart attack and then stroke, I began a Caring Bridge website (www.caringbridge.org/visit/richallen) and faithfully updated there. Last post here found me telling Dad to hang on! We all hung on through those 2 1/2 weeks in the Neuro ICU, but on June 27, my Dad left this world to enter Heaven and meet Jesus face to face! 8220;For my thoughts. 8217;s...

http://philipandfamily.blogspot.com/2015/04/big-boy-beds.html
Sunday, April 12, 2015. Funny how things work out. Here's how that boy bedroom looks these days. Time to kiss that crib goodbye! Here you can see the room layout with bunk beds and crib. Sully will be moving into the crib from the bassinet in our room in a month or so. All decked out with bedding and boys! And here's how we found Rylan the first night. We'll try again the next day at naptime. He looks cozy. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). South Carolina, United States. View my complete profile.

Sunny Side Up: June 2015
http://philipandfamily.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 17, 2015. Hold On, Dad! Last week, our church had Vacation Bible School. Each year there is a theme statement for the night which the children follow with the motto for the week. The themes were:. God Has the Power to Provide. God Has the Power to Comfort. God Has the Power to Heal. God Has the Power to Forgive. God Has the Power to Love Forever. The week's motto was: HOLD ON! Dad, we want you to keep fighting and HOLD ON! We know the Lord Jesus can work a miracle if He chooses to. I'm a ...
