Food for thoughts }. Tales of Korea #8 : Winter light over Gyeongbokgung. I visited Gyeongbokgung again this year. Nothing much has changed since last year or the year before, but I wanted to see how the winter light was playing with the colourful wood architecture and the stone statues. And it really is something to see. The winter light gives a warm feel, even to stone, and the shadows have some texture to them. It's like sunset light, but filtered. I let you try to find out what they are. In 1989, the...

Butterfly Garden – following my heart through my stomach. Crunchy Oats Millet Cookies. A Teaser of my life in France →. November 29, 2011 · 4:10 am. Almond Citron Poppy Seed Cookies. It’s been all done and there is no turning back. Today I went to the supermarket to get some fruit as I realised that I hadn’t eaten any fruit since I arrived, but was annoyed to find that I bought the wrong clementine – mandarins. T’s easy to think you’ll be that parent who won’t allow a trivial thing like childrearing affect your worldview. You’ll be the one who takes his toddler to cocktail parties, doesn’t give a shit about naps, only allows cool music on the car stereo, etc. Then, one day, you find yourself covered in princess stickers and humming. Why parents do the ridiculous shit they do. Why my nieces go to bed at 6PM!

Butterfly Garden – following my heart through my stomach. I love seeing the world through a camera lens and capturing random things that awaken my consciousness whether it be beautiful and joyful things or ugly and sad things. I have nothing, no fancy lenses, tripods or other equipments, beside a basic DSLR camera, which has been putting up with my poor photography skills through all these years. There are yummy photos. There are also beautiful photos…. And there are weird photos like these, too…. Addres...

Butterfly Garden – following my heart through my stomach. Happy Birthday, my not so little girl. →. April 30, 2011 · 4:14 pm. Turmeric Cake – Edith Piaf, Je t’aime! Coincidence….the science of randomness…. it just brings smiles to your face when it happens, like this moment when Edith’s song plays when you’re about to post something to do with her; as if life is trying to communicate with you in its secret language. How frivolous life is at times! Though I hadn’t had the chance to go to. La Vie En Rose.
