A Cook in the Kitchen: Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
http://acookinthekitchen.blogspot.com/2009/01/mint-chocolate-chip-ice-cream.html
Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. Photo courtesy of Nicholas Draney Photography. Growing up, whenever we went somewhere for ice cream, I always went for the mint chocolate chip. Something about the fresh minty cream and the sweet, crunchy chocolate pieces made for a perfect treat on a hot summer day. Although I suspect true ice cream lovers will eat it any time of year, even when temperatures drop below zero.). I found this recipe on the blog Proceed with Caution. After spotting this other recipe. 16 ounces...

A Cook in the Kitchen: Doughnut Muffins
http://acookinthekitchen.blogspot.com/2009/02/doughnut-muffins.html
These muffins are very, very dangerous to have around. They may not be as good as an actual doughnut, but they come pretty darn close. I saw this recipe last week on the blog Sweet Cheeks in the Kitchen. And I've been dreaming about them ever since. From Sweet Cheeks in the Kitchen. Yield: One dozen medium sized muffins. 1 1/2 cups flour. 2 t baking powder. Optional: Once the muffins came out of the oven I brushed each with melted butter then rolled completely in cinnamon and sugar. Karen Tack to offer t...

5-Minute Chocolate Mug Cake. This recipe is very, very dangerous. It is so simple to make, and you probably have all of the ingredients sitting in your cupboard at any given time, so beware! You might make this the first time and make it the next 2, 3 or 4 nights as well. 5-Minute Chocolate Mug Cake. 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional). A small splash of vanilla extract. 1 large coffee mug. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 5-Minute Chocolate Mug Cake. The Pioneer Woman Cooks. Nicholas Draney - blog.

Knitting Letters : A to Z: November 2010
http://unionpurl.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
I am creating an abecedarium. Of knitted letters. An abecedarium is an alphabet that celebrates the letter’s typographic design and the word that represents it. In the most familiar example, “ A. Is for apple,” the form and shape of the A. Are as important as the illustrated apple that represents the letter.
