Friday, February 12, 2010. न्यूयार्क. तुम्हारे शहर में ए दोस्त. क्यूं कर च्युंटियों के घर नहीं हैं. कहीं भी चीटियां नहीं देखी मैने. अगरचे फ़र्श पे चीनी भी डाली. पर कोइ चीटीं नज़र नहीं आयी. हमारे गांव के घर में तो आटा डालते हैं, गर. कोइ क़तार उनकी नज़र आये. तुम्हारे शहर में गरचे. बहुत सब्ज़ा है, कितने खूबसूरत पेड़ हैं. पौधे हैं, फूलों से भरे हैं. कोई भंवरा मगर देखा नहीं भंवराये उन पर. मेरा गांव बहुत पिछड़ा हुआ है. मेरे आंगन के बरगद पर. और वहीं पर बीट करते हैं. शहरयार : गुलज़ार. हमख्याल. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Disputed Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri mosque site has been contentious for over a hundred years now. The High Court bench is to decide who the land belongs to and what stood here first, a temple or a mosque. One side in the legal battle claims that this has been a mosque for 400 years. The other side says an ancient temple was demolished to build that mosque. They say this is the birthplace of Lord Ram. The first recorded communal clashes over the site date back to this year.

Saturday, September 26, 2009. वो आखिरी चिट्ठी. वो आखिरी चिट्ठी भी सिराहने रख दी. तुमसे कहने वाली ढेर सारी बातें दबाकर।. कभी खूंटी पर रखी पुरानी यादों को खोलना. बीते लम्हों के पत्ते आज भी हरे मिलेंगे।. चढ़ती-उतरती सीढ़ियों पर. वो परछाइयां आज भी चिपकी हैं।. पीछे से उठती हवाओं से पूछना. उसकी किताबों में वो दो फूल ताजा हैं।. वक्त के झोंके धुल नहीं पाएं है. कभी गर्मी, कभी सर्दी बनकर सताते है।. वक्त बेवक्त आते मानसून में. उनका रंग पीला तो नहीं हुआ. In the beginning it was horsepower (animal power), man power. Then technology went further and above power is not sufficient to meet its demand. It demanded more GOD or GODESS.
