We'll be including updates on Isaiah's surgeries, and growth progression, and whatever else we feel the world should know! Wohoo the roof has been fixed, and for the whopping sum of $25! The guys that came out first for an estimate said it was a nail that had backed its way out and punctured the two layers of shingles and patched it up lickety split. That's great! Anyways, lots of fun!

However, my efforts to remain wed to plans are slowly giving way to acknowledgement that rigidity and all the planning in the world just can’t work all the time. Some days we do (perhaps somewhat naively) reach the point of thinking wow, life is beginning to be a little consistent, but then bang- something happens that quickly and swiftly pulls the rug from beneath your feet. The Continuing Adventures of Chloe and Gavin. Friday, June 04, 2010. Gavin turned 11 months old 2 days ago. We started the morning with a trip to the doctor to determine that he has double ear infections again. Other than the beginning, he has been much less sick than Chloe was despite having an older sibling. I think those monthly shots to prevent RSV really made a difference. Even though he started daycare in January (or was it February? With birthdays 17 days apart, well see how long I can do that!
