Sean’s Isetta Restoration Blog. Just another WordPress.com weblog. January 15, 2009. So I’ve spent some time today trying to find a good fitting spark plug and some tires. Isetta Source has a great page to help with these questions. However, I cannot find anyone who will supply or even order the cheaper tires! I really wish I could. Any ideas? Also, I found this marine spark plug L76V. It is exactly the same dimensions and dosn’t protrude at all. Any opinions on this? Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

So I realize it’s been forever since I was last on this blog, but I wanted to let you all know that I’ve made some progress on the restoration. I got new tires! I got some Kumho Power Star 145r10 tires. I bought them from a user on ebay named mgresha1. They are great. I also got my original rims rims bead blasted and powder coated. It’s been a while since I restored my first BMW Isetta. My first one was in the early 1980’s when spare parts were extremely hard to find. That first car was a coupe with a two tone blue/gray paint job. I spent $2,000 on the restoration and sold it to a BMW dealer for $3500. My first Isetta restoration in the early 80’s.
