Monday, May 7, 2012. Reunited And It Feels So Good! After a long separation my Isetta chassis and body have been reunited! I took my chassis out to the body shop today so the Creative Classics crew could help me set the body back on the chassis. Everything went pretty smooth. I had to take apart my original pop out brackets to get it all replated It was a challenge putting the brackets all back together correctly. BMW Isetta Bubble Window Restoration Blog. Monday, October 27, 2014. The green alien space pod has landed. Fresh out the paint booth! The paint job went really smooth. 2 coats of DCC single stage color. With 2 more coats of clear over that. Single stage paint with clear over it always looks awesome. With that deep gloss.
