Sunday, April 10, 2011. 2 gallons warm water. 2 1/2 cups sugar. 3 tablespoons root beer extract. Mix everything together and poor it in a bottle, and let it sit for 12 to 15 hours. Put lid on tight, and place in fridge. I didn't like it. Tasted like yeast. Like a bad burnt marshmallow. Mom says it should have sat longer before tasting. They call me medium. I like playing games most of the time. I like my house that I live on right now. The house that I'm moving to is cool. I'm 8 years old. I'm in the 2nd grade. I live in Kansas on a homestead. That's a small farm. I like our big tree out back, because it is just right for climbing. I have cats, Salt and Pepper. I like helping milk the cows. Friday, July 23, 2010. I was 4 in this picture. A long time ago. But I still catch snakes. We have a lot of snakes here. I few weeks ago I caught a garter snake for our friend Hooter. It was his birthday and he likes snakes. He got it to eat a small mouse and he said it was a keeper. July 23, 2010 at 11:20 AM. I like snakes too. People think they are slimy but they are so smooth and soft. I like that Hooter thought his birthday snake was a keeper. Cool. Nice snake in that pic. Hes big! Very cool, Small.

Tuesday, June 22, 2010. I want to be a cowboy. I want to ride bulls, but before I can do that I have to ride a sheep. Sheep run and buck, but are safer than bulls. The sheep with horns is Bob Dole. Monday, July 26, 2010. Rainbows and sand plums. I saw a double rainbow yesterday. Mom couldn't get a picture of that. So she got the single. Yesterday we went to the farmstead and picked sand plums. I don't like them. They are growing next to the drive way. There was a lot and Large got the most because he was the first one there. My brothers threw plums at me. It hurt. After we picked plums we went back up to the house. I helped mimaw and pawpaw put the couch into the truck. July 30, 2010 at 7:58 AM.

Tuesday, July 20, 2010. This picture is our creek, that's my Uncle and aunt in the picture. We were at the farm, taking cows out. I went to the creek with my brothers. It had been raining hard. We could barely see the road as we went. We made a dam at the creek. Mom told us to stay away from the creek, I was trying to tell my brother Large not to go. Tuesday, June 1, 2010. We went to the farm. I picked mulberries. I went into the tree, I shook the tree. They fell down onto the tarp. I ate them. I got bumps on my arm. They did not hurt or itch. I helped dad with the fence. I rolled it out. It was heavy. We are putting fence up so we can put the cows out. I went to the creek. I played with my brothers. We walked in the water. I am 6 years old. I live on a small farm. I have lots of animals, my favorite is our horse Sam. I like to ride her. On our small farm I like building turkey pens, tearing down outbuildings with my dad, rolling in the mud, and chasing the chickens. I don't like cow poop.
