The Wilder Boys

Sunday, April 10, 2011. 2 gallons warm water. 2 1/2 cups sugar. 3 tablespoons root beer extract. Mix everything together and poor it in a bottle, and let it sit for 12 to 15 hours. Put lid on tight, and place in fridge. I didn't like it. Tasted like yeast. Like a bad burnt marshmallow. Mom says it should have sat longer before tasting. But if you let it get too warm it will go BOOM! Until next time Medium. Links to this post. Monday, July 26, 2010. Rainbows and sand plums. Links to this post. I few weeks...

The Wilder Boys: Large

http://thewilderboys.blogspot.com/p/large.html

I am Large I live with Small same things practically. I am 12 years of age. I am slightly an artist. The only thing I don't like other what Small doesn't is the possibility of leeches in the creek. You can find my posts here. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This blog is authored by 3 boys, who wish to be known as Wilders. This is their story, in their own words about what life is like on a farmstead in Kansas. Mom only helps with spelling, and moderating comments. 100 Acre Woods Times. I Thunk the Spunk.

The Wilder Boys: Small

http://thewilderboys.blogspot.com/p/small.html

I am 6 years old. I live on a small farm. I have lots of animals, my favorite is our horse Sam. I like to ride her. On our small farm I like building turkey pens, tearing down outbuildings with my dad, rolling in the mud, and chasing the chickens. I don't like cow poop. At the big farm I like the creek, all the big trees, and shooting the gun. I don't like the ticks, and all the work we have to do. You can find my posts here. The Wilder Boys: rabbits

http://thewilderboys.blogspot.com/2010/07/rabbits.html

Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Soon were getting rabbits we don't know if it is 20 or 60. So were building a rabbit hutch. Is it a big hutch. It is made of scrap wood and fencing. I am excited about the rabbits. They are loose in someones barn. They are going to catch them, and then bring them to the motorcycle shop were my dad works. Then we will bring them home. I like rabbits. I am going to use pelts to make a hat and mittens. July 21, 2010 at 12:47 PM. Rabbit meat is also very yummy, and very good for you.

The Wilder Boys: Snakes

http://thewilderboys.blogspot.com/2010/07/snakes.html

Friday, July 23, 2010. I was 4 in this picture. A long time ago. But I still catch snakes. We have a lot of snakes here. I few weeks ago I caught a garter snake for our friend Hooter. It was his birthday and he likes snakes. He got it to eat a small mouse and he said it was a keeper. July 23, 2010 at 11:20 AM. I like snakes too. People think they are slimy but they are so smooth and soft. I like that Hooter thought his birthday snake was a keeper. Cool. Nice snake in that pic. Hes big! Very cool, Small.

The Wilder Boys: Creek Flood

http://thewilderboys.blogspot.com/2010/07/creek-flood.html

Tuesday, July 20, 2010. This picture is our creek, that's my Uncle and aunt in the picture. We were at the farm, taking cows out. I went to the creek with my brothers. It had been raining hard. We could barely see the road as we went. We made a dam at the creek. Mom told us to stay away from the creek, I was trying to tell my brother Large not to go. But he went because he wanted to, he kept ignoring me. I won't go to the creek again when it's raining. July 20, 2010 at 12:32 PM. I hope you have a fun day.

Let me stretch on out. Ok so I downloaded the same picture. We had Amidy's pictures taken the other day and here are a few of my favorites! If you don't know what the letters are for we are spelling Amidy. All we have left is the "Y" and that will be when she is 12 months! Tuesday, December 22, 2009. As you can tell Amidy. We too...

Wilderbeast | Unleash it.

April 2, 2015. December 31, 2014. I am a creature comforted by things. These things make my heart beat faster, all strung together with loose threads of memories and bold acts of life that make it difficult to part with them. I am attached to the memories they hold. There’s a fear I have that letting go of them will mean letting go of the memories themselves; or worse, perhaps, letting go of a part of me, or a part of somewhere or someone else. These things told a story,. But on particularly murky day in...

Chase and Sadie Wilder

Saturday, September 21, 2013. Posted with LOTS of LOVE and thought by. Friday, August 30, 2013. Chase only purchases a lunch at school when they serve pizza. Cheese. Other days, we send a packed lunch, which is cheaper and I can be sure he's getting a nice variety. Sadie and I visited Chase at school today for his first cheese. Until next square pizza day. Posted with LOTS of LOVE and thought by. Friday, August 16, 2013. Contagiousness, I tell ya! I truly believe experiences with your children are so muc...

The Wilder Coast

Thursday, August 6, 2015. All photos, unless otherwise noted, are by Honey by Hive Studio. Our friends, our parents, our family- they raised us a barn. We hired Colleen as our florist. For those of you who have been reading the blog for a while now, you may remember Colleen as the black-clad roommate in the shittiest apartment in Seattle. She'd chirp, like somebody's no-nonsense mom. The arrangements she created were soft, cream and pale yellow roses with bold strokes of blue and tiny sprays of white dai...

The Wilde Report

Friday, May 15, 2009. In his blog post. We cannot afford to go about dispensing help wherever there is a problem, particularly in light of our present financial troubles. However, there are sometimes circumstances that require us to get involved, whether militarily or financially. If there is a crisis that a country cannot deal with alone, the United States has a responsibility as a world power to provide aid. Friday, May 8, 2009. Friday, April 24, 2009. Thursday, April 9, 2009. Even if the tax breaks do...
